Referrals
Every Cmdop account has its own referral code. Share it, and both sides can earn extra time on a paid plan — the invited person for signing up and getting started, and you for referring someone who becomes a paying customer.
Your referral code and share link
Find your referral code in the account console — the same program shows as guest passes in the web console’s top bar, with just a count and your share link. Sharing it works two ways:
- Give someone the code directly, to enter when they sign up.
- Send them your share link,
cmdop.com/gift/<code>, which opens a page explaining the invitation and the plan it unlocks before they sign up.
Anyone signing up with your code is attributed to you. A person can be attributed to one referrer only, and referring yourself is not possible.
What the invited person gets
Signing up with a referral code adds free days to a paid plan tier, as soon as the account is created — a welcome bonus for trying Cmdop with an invitation. Reaching common first milestones, such as adding a payment method, can unlock additional days on top of the welcome bonus. These are separate rewards, not promises that stack indefinitely: at any time, an account has one active grant of extra plan days, running for the length of whichever reward most recently applied.
None of this charges anything. A plan-days reward is time on a paid tier, not a subscription — it runs out on its own and no card is required to receive it.
What the referrer gets
You earn extra plan days when someone you referred becomes a paying customer — specifically, when their first payment goes through, not simply when they sign up or start a trial. This keeps the reward tied to a real conversion instead of an account that never activates.
The reward is credited once per referral. If the person you referred later joins somebody else’s organization instead of paying for their own, that does not trigger your reward — the reward is for referring a paying customer, not for adding someone to an account that already pays.
Checking your referral status
The account console shows your referral code, your share link, and how many invitations you have left to give out, along with which of your referrals have converted. It reports referral outcomes only — not who used your link, beyond what you need to see your own reward status.

Common questions
How do I get a referral code?
Every Cmdop account has one automatically. Find it, and your share link, in the account console.
What does the person I invite get?
Extra days on a paid plan tier, starting as soon as they sign up with your code or share link. Reaching a common first milestone, like adding a payment method, can add more.
When do I get my referral reward?
When someone you referred makes their first payment on a paid plan — not when they sign up. Referring someone who never pays, or who only joins another organization’s paid plan, does not earn a reward.
Is the referral reward money?
No. Both the invited person’s welcome bonus and the referrer’s reward are extra days on a paid plan tier, not cash, credit, or a discount code.
Does my share link expire or reveal who used it?
The share link cmdop.com/gift/<code> stays valid; if a code becomes inactive
or its invitation limit is reached, the page explains that rather than
completing the offer. The account console reports referral status, not the
identity of people who used your link.
