Run commands on a machine
There are two ways to run commands on a Cmdop machine: open a session on it in the relay’s web console, or drive it from your own terminal with the CLI. Either way the command runs on that machine under its permission policy, and the session survives you leaving. Most people start in the browser.
From a browser. Open the machine in the web console and work in its session. Ask for what you want; the agent runs it on that machine under its permission policy, and you watch it happen.
From your own terminal. Use the CLI. cmdop chat gives you an
interactive session against a machine, and cmdop connect handles remote
attachment — see
Remote terminal access.
Either way the session is durable: leaving does not end the work. See Durable conversations.

Common questions
How do I run commands from the web console?
Open the machine in the relay’s web console and work in its session. The agent runs commands on that machine under its permission policy, and you can leave and return without ending the session.
Is browser command execution the same as terminal attach?
No. Browser work happens in a durable machine session. Terminal attach is a CLI path and has its own reachability and authentication rules.
What happens if I close the browser?
Closing the browser detaches your view. It does not end the machine-owned session or automatically stop work already running there.
